I’ve always pondered why I am deeply in love with everything that’s breakfast related…or you understand, just obsessed with food in general.

I’ve always pondered why I am deeply in love with everything that’s breakfast related…or you understand, just obsessed with food in general.I think We finally found the solution after visiting my Grandmother and hanging out in the kitchen cooking food with her. I’m now quite convinced a love for food continues to be passed down to me. I understand that it’s something that will be apart of me forever. In fact, cooking food for others is completely my favorite thing in the world.
My future husband is one lucky man.
Kidding.
Wait… no I’m not.
My grandmother is Puerto Rican, thus much of the meals she cooks tends to be Spanish inspired; my Nana (Great Grandmother) trained her how exactly to cook everything from scuff when she was a girl. Since then, it’s been one of her favorite things to do. When my Grandma isn’t making homemade pozole, empanadas, and arroz con pollo, she is usually cooking muffins the size of my face or throwing together a absurd continental breakfast time for my Grandfather. Seriously give her a fifty percent hour and she’ll make you an incredible food, but provide her with a few hours and you’ll possess a masterpiece to eat.
She treats every meal she makes with affection, putting the most love into her creations – it’s an extraordinary quality. She pours her soul into stews and she throws her spice forever into spanish rice. Cooking is like a manifestation to her, and everything is always made with like.

Juicing Doesn’t Need To Be Confusing. Read These Tips!

Juicing can be a great way to get the nutrients and vitamins you need, while on the go. Read on to learn some handy tips which can help you get started in juicing.
To get the most out of juicing, using leafy greens in your juice blends is a great idea. Kale, beet greens, mustard greens and other leafy greens are all great for the task. Shoot for making your juices contain around 50-75% greens, and then throw in some other vegetables and fruits for flavoring. Fruit juices tend to be more sugary and unhealthy than juices based on greens.
Treat your juice like a meal. This will make a lot of sense when you look at the large amount of food that you will need to create a single glass of juice. Drink the entire glass as if it is a meal, so the nutrients and vitamins reach your bloodstream more quickly.
Think of your juices according to color. Every color provides different nutrients; if you can learn which colors are associated with which nutrients, you’ll be able to choose the right fruits and vegetables for your needs. The more varied the produce you use, the better the nutritional value and more enjoyable the taste.
Always keep your juicer in plain view on your counter. This will ensure that you remember to use it often and get the most benefits from it. It will be a simple matter to drop in a few fruits and veggies and make fresh healthy juice every day.
